Ozanam is partnering with the Pittsburgh Public Schools to help ensure our youth qualify for the Pittsburgh Promise.

We create value by developing a culture of inner city youth, led by role models and mentors, who make it socially acceptable to succeed academically and receive tutoring.

All youth participating in Ozanam programs during the course of the school year must maintain a 2.5 grade point average to participate in Ozanam programs, activities and events. Each scholarship participant must have an Ozanam academic release form signed by a parent or guardian to participate. Any student who does not have a 2.5 grade point average (g.p.a.) can continue to participate in Ozanam sponsored programs and events but must attend tutoring classes. If any student falls outside of our support service area Ozanam will work with students and families to identify tutoring services in their area.
